The African American Caucus - North Carolina Democratic Party was founded on February 8, 2003, in order to fight for equality for African Americans, strengthen participation in politics, and promote education. We also represent the concerns of our members to Democratic Party leadership and ensure that the party's positions are communicated to our members. Our goal is to organize a chapter in every county of North Carolina, in accordance with our by-laws.
The AAC-NCDP is committed to supporting and strengthening Democratic principles, goals, and objectives at all levels of the party. We want to increase the visibility and influence of African Americans in the Democratic Party, so we can strengthen the party itself. Contact us to find out more about our organization or to get involved with our work. Together, we can make a real difference in North Carolina.
